Statement of Beliefs

1. The Great Commission
   We believe in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy, and compassion.

2. The Oneness of God
   We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), the Creator of all things. He has revealed Himself as Father (Creator), Son (Savior), and Holy Ghost (Indwelling Spirit). We believe that Jehovah (Yahweh) of the Old Testament is Jesus Christ of the New Testament—revealing the oneness of God.

3. The Work of Christ
   We believe in the life, death, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

4. Repentance and Redemption
   We believe that repentance is commanded by God and is necessary for the forgiveness of sins. Through Jesus Christ we are redeemed, forgiven, holy, justified, free, adopted, and reconciled.

5. The Life of a Disciple
   We believe that discipleship includes repentance, water baptism, receiving the Holy Ghost, prayer, continued learning, worship, and using spiritual gifts for ministry.

6. Water Baptism
   We believe in water baptism by full immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, identifying with His death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38).

7. Baptism of the Holy Spirit
   We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:4).

8. Gifts of the Spirit
   We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit—tongues, interpretation, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, discernment of spirits, faith, miracles, healing, helps, and government (Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11).

9. Marriage Covenant
   We believe that marriage is a covenant established by God between one born-man and one born-woman (Genesis 2:24).
