SCRIPTURE: “None of them could stand against the wisdom and the Spirit with which Stephen spoke. So they persuaded some men to lie about Stephen, saying, “We heard him blaspheme Moses, and even God.”

‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭6:10-11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

LISTEN: If you cannot understand the knowledge in which one is speaking, seek the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth. You could also simply have a conversation with that person to gain clarity in which they just spoke. However, do not go out spreading false reports about them. Because in doing so others are believing what you are saying and you will persuade them to do the same. Just because you have never encountered it, witness it, heard of it, or understand it, that does not deem it false. I can tell you, it is many things within the four Gospels and the book of Acts that Christian do not believe and call New Age Religion, witchcraft and false religion. Study the Word for yourself and research before you discredit someone as serving under false circumstances.

PRAYER: Father in Your Word it says that You are the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. Therefore, you are still working through and in us performing signs, wonders, and miracles. You are still raising the dead through your people. You are still healing the sick through laying on of the hands. You are still giving sight to the blind, and command the lame to walk through those that believe. Father increase our measure of faith so that we too can continue in the ministry of casting out demons, and healing those that need to be healed. Help our unbelief, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

In Jesus Name, Amen!

Key Verse:

“You’re going to wear yourself out—and the people, too. This job is too heavy a burden for you to handle all by yourself.”

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭18:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

LISTEN: One thing that we learned as leaders in the military is that we must delegate. It is vital to reach out for others to help so you don’t get weary in well doing. Moses was following the directions of God, but He does send others to help us through the journey. The apostles in the Books of Acts understood this as they went out in groups of twos to do the work of the Lord. This is the same in a marriage on yesterday I was talking to a friend and we were talking about how in the home where I slack my husband picks up. It keeps us as a team to stay afloat and keeps the household moving. It keeps one spouse from being burnt out. Look who is on your team, and utilize them so you don’t get weary in well doing. It is like Moses needed Aaron and Hur to hold his arms up doing the battle when he got tired. Find your Aaron and Hur. (Exodus 17:12)

Prayer: God expose to us who is on our team. Help us realize that we don’t have to do it alone. Expose to us our Aaron and Hur lift our hands. Help us to delegate so we don’t get weary in well doing.

In Jesus Name!
